The smartmicro radar altimeters are the most advanced altimeters on the market. They are suitable for several manned and unmanned aircraft and reliably measure the true height above ground. The altimeters work under difficult conditions, such as poor visibility or widely varying temperatures from -40 to +85°C – they are even unaffected by blowing sand. Being insensitive to the attitude of the aircraft, smartmicro sensors perform at pitch and roll angles of up to ±20 degrees.
Thanks to the most advanced smartmicro radar technology, our altimeters determine the vertical speed component or sink rate precisely and with the highest update rates. They provide stable and precise altitude readings at low cost.
